What is Bread of Angels?
It’s a phrase from Psalm 78:25 - “men ate the bread of angels; he sent them food in abundance.” If you read the whole chapter, it chronicles the Israelites years in the wilderness. Even while God provided everything for them, the bread of angels, they continued to grumble and rebel against God. It’s a phrase that challenges me to practice joy and contentment in God’s daily provisions, regardless of my situation.
We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.Psalm 78:4
